Overview
Planna AI is an AI-powered calendar and task assistant for iOS and Android. This policy explains what information Planna collects, how it’s used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account info: your email address and name, from signing in with Apple, Google, or email.
- Calendar and task data: the events, tasks, and reminders you create, and the events in a Google Calendar you connect.
- What you tell the assistant: the messages you type, and your voice while you use voice mode.
- Gmail, if you connect it: Planna reads matching emails only to answer a question you ask about your mail. Your email is never stored on our servers, never sent or replied to on your behalf, and never used to train AI models. Disconnect it anytime in Settings → Mail.
- Phone number: only if you turn on phone-call reminders, and only after you verify it.
- Subscription status. Apple or Google handles your payment — Planna never sees your card details.
- Device and usage info: push-notification tokens, which features you use, your device model, operating system, app version, and approximate location from your IP address. This is tied to your account ID and never includes what you typed or said, or the titles of your events and tasks.
- Crash reports: what went wrong, with your device model, operating system, and app version. They don’t include your messages or calendar content.
How we use your information
- To run Planna: show and sync your schedule, understand your requests, and send reminders, briefs, and — if you turn them on — phone-call reminders.
- To process your subscription and answer support requests.
- To keep Planna reliable and secure, and to improve it. Never for advertising.
AI processing
- To understand and answer your requests, Planna sends what you type or say — with the relevant details from your calendar and tasks, like event titles and times — to a third-party AI provider. If you connect Gmail, the matching emails are sent too, only to answer your question.
- Planna asks for your consent in the app before anything is sent, and you can withdraw it anytime in Settings.
Who we share information with
- Service providers that run parts of Planna for us, each only for its own job: cloud hosting and storage, AI processing, subscription management, product analytics, crash reporting, and — if you turn on phone-call reminders — phone calls and number verification.
- Apple and Google, when you sign in with them, connect Google Calendar or Gmail, or subscribe through the App Store or Google Play.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored with a cloud hosting provider, and calendar and mail connections are encrypted. We use industry-standard security practices, but no system is completely secure.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and everything in it — profile, events, tasks, reminders, chat and voice history, calendar connections, and briefs — anytime from Settings → Delete account. This can’t be undone.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete events and tasks, disconnect a calendar or Gmail, turn off notifications and call reminders, and withdraw AI consent at any time.
- You can request a copy of your data by emailing us below.
Children’s privacy
Planna isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Planna changes. We’ll update the effective date above and let you know in the app if a change is material.
